Interior design studio — Singapore

Meantime Studio

A design practice dedicated to quiet, enduring interiors shaped by light, material and proportion.

A measured way of making space

Meantime Studio works across homes, mixed-use and small hospitality projects. Each commission is treated as a long conversation rather than a single gesture — from first sketches to the moment light hits the finished room.

The studio favours calm plans, generous circulation and a restrained material palette. Instead of decoration layered on top, structure, joinery and light do most of the work.

Practice

Independent interior design studio based in Outram, Singapore, working with a network of local makers and builders.

Clients

Homeowners, boutique developers and hospitality operators who value long-term, quiet spaces over short-lived trends.

Scope

Concept design, spatial planning, material specification, bespoke joinery and on-site design stewardship.

How we work

A simple, structured process that keeps every project specific to its context — and to the people who will live with it.

01

Listening & mapping

We begin by understanding routines, adjacencies and existing light, translating conversations into clear spatial diagrams.

02

Plans, mock-ups, models

Scaled drawings and physical tests refine proportion, storage and circulation before finishes are selected.

03

Material & detail

We develop a tight material palette and joinery language, paying close attention to thresholds, edges and touchpoints.

04

On-site stewardship

The studio stays present on site — checking samples, refining details and aligning all trades around the design intent.
